Snow!
Not much snow falls down in these parts so when 6-8 inches fall it's memorable.
The snow started about 3:30 PM Friday and didn't stop until early this morning.
At least this time the power was off for only 8 hours (8PM-4AM) unlike the 23 hours in the past.
These pictures were taken at 8:30 AM Today (Saturday). It's a good thing I got them since as soon as the sun hit the trees the snow started dropping off them.
The temperatures will be rising throught the weekend so the snow won't last too long.
Tyger had never seen snow (she turned 4 years old on January 4th. After a slow start, she settled in and did her normal run around the yard without a problem:
Here's some more snowy pictures:
Larry stuck a 12 inch ruler into the snow.
There was 6 inches. The guy across the street had 8 inches in his back yard.
Our maple tree in the
front yard:
couldn't handle the snow...
Very snowy red tip

In the back yard:
On the left snowy oak tree
On the right snowy bird feeder
Plenty of sunshine today and above freezing temps this afternoon and tomorrow will leave just a muddy mess.
Take care & enjoy,
Florence
