A Beautiful Weekend!

A cold front came though Friday and dropped the high temperatures from the mid 90’s to the mid 80’s. The clear skies and brisk breeze made it a very comfortable weekend! A nice break during the peak of summer!

Early Saturday morning is our preferred time for running errands. Yesterday we left at 7:15 and stopped at the gas station, dropped an envelope deposit at the credit union, had breakfast at McDonalds, then did our shopping at Walmart, Publix, and Lowes; and we made it back to the house by 9:20! The errands are made easier since the three stores are right next to each other!

It is still crazy busy at work and I’m putting in a solid seven hours of overtime every week. The big joke at work is that even though we work for an office supply company it is so difficult for us to get the supplies that we need to get our job done.

Now that the graduation samplers have been finished, and Christmas only six months away – I have started working on gifts. I have ten to stitch so I hope my needle flies!

I’ve added a widget to my blog that highlights my eBay store. Come on by and look around!

Have a great week!

Take care & enjoy,
Florence

Happy 4th of July!!

In these parts, where fireworks are legal, we had some people practicing last weekend and some more tonight. It should be a mad house tomorrow night!

Tyger is now 18 months old. Yesterday the Daily Puppy featured a Shiba Uni puppy - some of the mannerisms of that pup are the same as ours (she's half Shiba). Her terrier coat is still coming in and she has some wild hair! She's settled down a lot since he puppy days but she still likes to play and is a terror with towels!

I thought I was getting caught up at work only to end up with an 8 inch high stack of mail Monday. Cripes! I was thinking about cutting back on working overtime but that might be a bit premature. We're all looking forward to next month - our benefits kick in! Tomorrow will be our last unpaid holiday - we'll get holiday pay for Labor Day.

Both graduation samplers went to the frame shop last week. I should be getting a call shortly to pick them up. It will be a treat to see how they turned out.

Wishing you and your a very Happy 4th of July!

Take care & enjoy,
Florence
